Jason was born during the worst snowstorm the Douglas County area had ever seen. Having successfully overcome that obstacle, he grew up attending the Roseburg public schools, eventually graduating from Roseburg High School in 1987. Upon completing studies in English Literature at Willamette University, Jason came to work at the family business, spending 27 years as a property & casualty insurance agent at Umpqua Insurance Agency. After some long discussions, and some serious thought, the family decided to sell that business in October of 2018. It was at that point that he decided to pursue a career in Real Estate. Having had some success as a property investor, it seemed like a good fit.
Jason is an avid community supporter, and has served as a board member and Chairman of the Board of both Cobb Children’s Learning Center, and the Douglas County YMCA. Jason is active in North Roseburg Rotary, and volunteers his time and energy to many community projects. He brings skills in property investment, risk management and marketing and will diligently work on your behalf to assist in making your transactions successful. Jason enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing the odd round of golf, and traveling. He is very proud of his children, Sean and Myan who both attend University of Oregon, and dotes on his standard poodle, Tess.
