Canyonville is a city in Douglas County, Oregon, United States. The population was 1,922 at the 2016 census. The Seven Feathers Casino Resort is in Canyonville. The city lies along Interstate 5 about 100 miles (160 km) north of the Oregon–California border and about 200 miles (320 km) south of Portland, Oregon. Canyon Creek flows through Canyonville, where it joins the South Umpqua River.^[6] According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.97 square miles (2.51 km²), all of it land. Canyonville is classified as having a Mediterranean climate, with some characteristics of an oceanic climate in its cool temperatures. Winters are cool, gray and rainy, while summers are warm and dry.
