Loren Skelton

From rivers to mountain peaks to the 100 valley floors of the Umpqua, LOREN “SMILEY” SKELTON has concentrated her business efforts in the area of residential real estate. Having received her B.A. Degree from California State University, Northridge in Art History and Design, her strong background and love of architecture, landscape design, interior design, and all elements relating to home ownership naturally lent itself to Smiley pursuing a career in real estate with an emphasis in the residential market.

Furthering her education, Loren received her California State Teaching Credential from Cal Lutheran University teaching at the K through 9 levels. She later went on and procured a Paralegal Certificate from Associated Business Schools and held a Senior Paralegal position with a Riverside based law firm specializing in Landlord/Tenant law.

Her past endeavors and interests included being under the employ of The John Perry Studio working directly for the well-known artist and sculptor, John Perry. Prior to her Oregon relocation, Smiley was affiliated with the Orange Blossom Festival, a mega street venue engaged in historical and educational event planning for the City of Riverside, CA. She has been involved with the Lions Club, the American Association of University Women (AAUW), and the California State Literacy Program.

It is Loren’s desire for her clients to do what they want to do, go where they want to go, and be where they want to be.
