Greg Johnson is very involved with his family. His wife Carol (who is the office manager at G. Stiles Realty) and three sons, Bryan, Matthew and Nathaniel and their families. He is an active member of St. Joseph Church, where he served on the Administrative Council for 14 years and on the St. Joseph Grade School Board. Greg served for 11 years on the Roseburg High School Booster Club Board and is a current member of the Umpqua Community College (UCC) Foundation Board.
Believing that service helps make the Roseburg community better, Greg is a long time member of the Umpqua Lions Club (recipient of the Lions Club International Melvin Jones Award and Lion of the Year Award), Member of the Communities for Healthy Forests, and past member of the Roseburg Chamber of Commerce’s Greeters Organization. Greg has also volunteered his time over fourteen years serving on the Douglas County Board of Property Tax Appeals (BOPTA).
Greg has served for several years as the President of the Roseburg Real Estate Exchange Club, and was chairperson for the two highly successful Southern Oregon Commercial Real Estate Conferences. He has served as President of the Douglas County Million Dollar Club, and Chairperson of the Realtor Education Committee. In 2008 Greg received the “Realtor of the Year” from the Douglas County Association of Realtors.
Helping clients achieve the results they want in real estate is forefront in Greg’s thinking of client satisfaction. By so doing – the bonus of friendships are made along the way.
In January 1998 Greg and Carol Johnson purchased Georgia Stiles Realty and renamed the firm G Stiles Realty. Greg has been a Roseburg resident since 1965. A graduate of Oregon State University in 1972 with a degree in Agriculture Education, Greg was part-owner of a construction company in Roseburg and later worked as the field consultant for Douglas County Farmers CoOp. In 1990 he obtained his real estate license and has worked full-time in the business since that date.
Understanding the importance of education to better serve his clients, Greg obtained his GRI (Graduate of the Realtors Institute) designation in 1992. In 1996 he received the prestigious CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation from the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute which is one of the leaders in commercial real estate in the world. G Stiles Realty is the only office in Douglas County with CCIM designation and having TWO CCIM Designees along with 9,000 CCIMs worldwide.
